The first 4 departments with the unlocked researches

Research is a mechanic which allow to unlock abilities and upgrades for your employees and facility by completing missions of the designated departments. This can include the rate of healing in main department rooms, Bullet Research and information displayed. With each department gained, new type of research options are available to be obtained.

The researches are unique for each department and the player can unlock a research from the current department in any order that they want after completing a mission, but at the end, the player can still unlock all of them. A special upgrade is gained also after completing a Sephirah Meltdown.

Unlock the 1.5x and 2x speed adjustment.

Joint Command "Joint Command permits you to give cross-divisional work orders between Departments."

Allow agents to work in other departments where they aren't initially assigned.

Assembly Summons "Beepers will be provided to the Agents so that they can be notified to return to their Home Department."

Unlocks a button for each department, next to the Regenerator Healing Gauge, that when pressed, orders all agents of that department to return to the main room. This current move orders to those employees.

Sephirah Meltdown Reward Boosted MovementSpeedIcon.png Movement Speed for all the employees.

LOB Points gained at the end of the day increased.

Department gains immunity to Qliphoth Meltdowns.

Visualize gauges, values and regulates Fear Level on Management Phase.

G.O Visualization "The interface that visualizes the geometric biometric information of Abnormalities and Agents will become available."

Display HPIcon.png HP/SPIcon.png SP bars on employees, above their heads and sharing the same bar of the name, and also display HPIcon.png HP bars on breaching Abnormalities, including name and Risk Level.

Damage Normalization "The interface that visualizes damage done by Abnormalities and Agents will become available."

Mental Corruption Neutralizing Gas "A special gas that counters mental corruption will be released in the Main Room to recover the mental health of Agents there more quickly."

Regenerator Distinguisher Modification "The Department Regenerators will continue to run at a decreased rate even if the Main Room is invaded by hostile entities. The Regenerators will continue to heal our employees with the help of a formula differentiating allies and enemies."

Supply Educational Manuals "Educational Manuals will be supplied to help our employees learn faster."

All agents can increase their stats through works more quickly.

Improve Work Education "The work education for the Clerks will be improved so they will be more prepared for various situations."

Improves the stats and equipment of clerks.

Improve Hiring Procedures "The hiring procedures for our Agents will be reinforced so that they will be more highly skilled."

New hired employees have slightly better/higher stats (+15).

Sephirah Meltdown Reward New hired agents will start with all their stats at Level 3 without extra cost. Stats can still be decreased to lower levels without cost.

Unlocks Shields of the Bullet Research.

Physical Intervention Shield "A Managerial Bullet that attaches a force field which absorbs RED type damage for a limited time will become available for use. This shield has no effect against other forms of attack."

Unlocks the RedResist.png Red Shield bullets which absorb RedDamageTypeIcon.png Red Damage. It can be applied to employees for an amount of time or until it breaks.

Trauma Shield "A Managerial Bullet that attaches a force field which absorbs WHITE type damage. The bullet temporarily slows down the perception of the receiver, protecting them from exterior mental and spiritual attacks."

Unlocks the WhiteResist.png White Shield bullets which absorb WhiteDamageTypeIcon.png White Damage. It can be applied to employees for an amount of time or until it breaks.

Erosion Shield "This BLACK bullet seals the vulnerable openings found in a human, including those of mental or spiritual natures; it prevents the thorns of erosion from infiltrating deep. There is one drawback however: it cannot prevent damage from within."

Unlocks the BlackResist.png Black Shield bullets which absorb BlackDamageTypeIcon.png Black Damage. It can be applied to employees for an amount of time or until it breaks.

Sephirah Meltdown Reward Maximum amount of bullets is increased by 25%

Unlocks the PaleResist.png Pale Shield bullets which absorb PaleDamageTypeIcon.png Pale Damage. It can be applied to employees for an amount of time or until it breaks.

Department gains immunity to Qliphoth Meltdowns.

GeburaArmband.png Disciplinary Team

Unlocks the Rabbit Team and 'offensive' bullets of the Bullet Research.

Execution Bullets "The bullet activates the disposal protocol implanted in the supplied ID card and E.G.O. Use this to remove wild and uncontrollable employees, or to eliminate those who may become the cause of a myriad of problems at any moment."

Unlocks bullets which instantly kill, without pain and neither leaving a body, an employee(s), clerk or agent, in the area of the shot. Has effect on possessed, infected and panicked employees, but not transformed ones.

Qliphoth Intervention Field "A Managerial Bullet that reduces the mobility of Abnormalities for a limited time. The Movement Speed of an Abnormality will be reduced by 50% via overloading the Qliphoth control."

Unlocks bullets which can reduce the MovementSpeedIcon.png Movement Speed (-50%) of Abnormalities, Ordeals and panicked employees when applied on them, lasting for an amount of time.

Rabbit Team "We can receive support from the Rabbits as per our contract with R Corporation. They can quickly suppress all hostile entities within a department; employee safety is not guaranteed during this process."

Unlocks the ability to call the Rabbit Team.

Sephirah Meltdown Reward E.G.O. equipment's (Armors and Weapons) maximum capacity is increased by 1, to a maximum limit of 5.

Department gains immunity to Qliphoth Meltdowns.

Unlocks healing bullets and its upgrade of the Bullet Research.

HP-N Bullets "Managerial Bullets with the capability to heal physical damage. These bullets, manufactured thanks to our Nano Technology Agreement with K Corporation, can speed up the body’s recovery."

Unlocks HPHealing.png HP Recovery Bullets which can heal an amount of HPIcon.png HP to the employees in the area of the shot.

SP-E Bullets "Managerial Bullets with the capability to heal mental damage. These are bullets that apply diluted Enkephalin to an Agent for a short while. The Enkephalin used is carefully refined, and will heal the target’s mind without risk of addiction."

Unlocks SPHealing.png SP Recovery Bullets which can heal an amount of SPIcon.png SP to the employees in the area of the shot. Has no effect on panicked employees.

HP & SP Bullet Refining "The recovery capabilities of HP-N and SP-E bullets will be increased. Recovery will become more effective through research into improving the refinement purity of our recovery bullets."

Increases the amount of HPHealing.png Healing by +15 of both the HPHealing.png HP and SPHealing.png SP bullets. (doesn't work)

Sephirah Meltdown Reward Employees has a 25% chance of, instead of dying/panicking, returning back to life/sanity, once per employee, per day.

Department gains immunity to Qliphoth Meltdowns.

Increases the maximum value of the agent's stats.

Limit Break: The Virtue of Protection "The limit upon Fortitude will be heightened beyond current records."

When in the hiring menu, the player can improve employee's level to EX (range: 110-130). Department gains immunity to Qliphoth Meltdowns.

BinahArmband.png Extraction Team

Research focused on E.G.O. and Abnormalities.

E.G.O. Restoration "The separation stability of E.G.O that has been synchronized with our Agents will be enhanced to lower the chance of the loss of E.G.O."

Gives a 25% chance to recover the E.G.O. equipment (Armor and Weapon separated) when an employee dies.

Re-extraction "By implementing a reversible extraction process, the Abnormalities can be re-extracted a single time per day."

During the Abnormality Selection, a Re-extraction button will appear at the top of screen to get another selection of Abnormalities to pick. Once per selection.

Gift Division "By dividing the selection of Abnormalities, the probability of an Agent acquiring an E.G.O Gift will increase."

E.G.O. Gift chance of being obtained is doubled.

Sephirah Meltdown Reward E.G.O. equipment will no longer be destroyed/lost when an agent equipping it dies.

Department gains immunity to Qliphoth Meltdowns.
